Across the nation public library use is way up. Residents are finding that the resources at their local library are a real bargain as all of those resources, programs and services are available to use without charges. If users had to pay for the resources they borrow, the programs they participate in or the personal assistance they receive they would be paying much more.
Dane County public libraries are feeling the pressure and often can not keep up with the demand as more people are using these services in surrounding communities.
